Anywhere from 3-9” forecasted. Finally have a chance to see how the new tires tackle the white stuff.

Always use fresh rubber when you’re expecting 3-9 inches ;)

Where at? They are calling for a “dusting to 8 inches” here in SE MI. I’ll believe it when it happens.

I’m assuming you mean snow.

Yep, I live in a state that sees frequent, regular snowfall and folks still act like they’ve never seen this mysterious fluffy rain before.

Fist bump.

Are those Cooper AT/Ws? I was looking at those last year for my Grand Cherokee, I wanted an all-terrain with the severe snow duty rating. But the AT/Ws weren’t yet widely available in the size I needed so they were almost twice as expensive as the General Grabber AT2s I bought instead.
And then...here in Wisconsin we had one of the lightest snowfalls of any winter I can remember.
We’re supposed to get anywhere from 5 to 11 inches of snow over Friday-Saturday here in Madison so I’m hoping I get a chance to actually use my snow driving capability!

These are AT/3s so no severe snow rating, but nice deep tread compared to the all-season CTSs that I had before. I’m about 3hrs SW of you here in IA so whatever we get should be a good indication of what you’ll get.

yea it was 65 yesterday, that says to me that there will be little to no accumulation, but there may be a nice layer of ice.

Ah northerners! You actually change your tires when it snows! Try the Alabama way! Keep your bald-ass tires on your car when over 5 inches of snow is predicted and go out and drive!

Well this morning it is 34.....and tomorrow is supposed to go do to 23 at some point. So we may get something. Like they said, a dusting to 8 inches lmfao.

Drove through a few inches of heavy wet stuff and they did great. Plenty of traction.

Nice! I think we got more than you in Michigan, we cheated and ran away on vacation though haha!

Just put the same Copper AT3’s on our slightly lifted Jeep Commander, would have tried them out on the same snow storm in Michigan but we ran off on vacation same day as the storm. You guys enjoy the snow lol.
And grabber 2’s are not in any way a bad choice lol

We ended up getting about a foot. I went out later in the evening and tore through it for an hour or so. Had a lot of fun.

Oh yeah I’m totally happy with the AT2s. The only downside is they’re heavy, so combined with the Hemi I’m now averaging 11-12 mpg. I can get all the way up to 16 mpg on the highway!

Woohoo 16!
Haha, we have the 3.7L V6 and only get about 18 highway so at least you get the power. We have the crap mileage and NO power....
